FAQ's

  • What does iHLTH do?
    iHLTH is an online marketplace for direct to consumer lab orders, healthcare lab work, lab testing, lab screening & immunization titers. We make the process of ordering your own lab tests convenient, affordable and confidential. iHLTH offers COVID-19 test OTC home test kits, PCR testing, as well as testing for travel.
  • Who can use iHLTH?
    Any customer 18 and over can order labs. No insurance is needed. No visit to the doctor is needed. Your lab results are sent directly to you in a secure email. If labs are required for school, immigration visas, employment, you will be able to download or print the lab report.
  • I need help choosing a test or have a specific condition.
    iHLTH cannot advise you on which tests to purchase. Please consult your doctor for medical advice.
  • Can I purchase a test under another name?
    No, laboratory tests must be performed on the person whose name is on the order. You will need to verify your identity with a photo ID at the Patient Service Center before lab testing. This is so we can confirm that the person who purchased the testing and the person who has the lab tests done are the same.
  • Can I purchase tests for my minor child?
    No, only adults 18 years or older may purchase lab orders from iHLTH.
  • What tests & titers are required for US Immigration?
    Please review the Form I-693 by the US Department of Homeland Security for lab tests and titers required for immigration. You can find the form here.
  • Where do I enter my promo code?
    Please click on the shopping bag icon–as displayed below–to visit the Cart Page. Below the services in your cart you will see "Enter a promo code." Please click on this and enter your promo code exactly as it is displayed. Promo codes are sensitive to case, space & special charaters. To navigate to Your Cart Page, click on the shopping page icon in the top right of your screen.
  • My promo code is not working.
    You can only use 1 promo code per order. Some promo codes are also subject to a 1 time use per customer. If your promo code is not working, it may be expired. Please also check that the promo code accurately matches the promo code displayed. Promo codes are case, space & special character sensitive.
  • I forgot to add my promo code; can I still use it?
    Promo codes must be entered at the time of checkout and cannot be added to already submitted orders.
  • Where can I get my lab testing?
    You can visit your preferred LabCorp Patient Service Center for lab testing. Please note that direct to consumer companies are not allowed to use any lab draw sites located in NY, NJ, RI or MD to get your lab testing done.
  • Do I need an appointment for my testing?
    Please check with your LabCorp Patient Service Center to verify hours, location, available testing and whether or not an appointment is needed. iHLTH recommends making an appointment to minimize your wait time as we do not have control over the number of walk-ins that may be present at the Patient Service Center of your choice.
  • I ordered my test online. When can I get my testing done?
    1. Once you place your order, you will get a downloadable link with more information. This will also be sent to you by email and is accessable for 30 days. In the meantime, iHLTH will work on filing your lab order, also known as a lab requisition. 2. You will receive an email from iHLTH within 60 minutes, Mon-Fri 8:30-4:30 EST with your lab requistion. 3. You can then proceed with visiting or scheduling an appointment with your preferred LabCorp Patient Service Center for testing.* *It is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate information when submitting an order, to verify your Patient Service Center's lab services available, hours, location and need for appointment, and to follow any fasting or restrictions necessary for your lab testing.
  • What do I need to bring to my LabCorp Patient Service Center?
    Please be sure to bring a photo ID and your lab order.
  • Do I need to fast before my lab test?
    Some lab tests require fasting (or refrain from eating or drinking anything but water) or specific dietary restrictions prior to your testing. Please note this prior to purchasing the test. All tests requiring fasting or dietary restriction include this in the description of the test. If you are unsure, please contact your LabCorp Patient Servce Center prior to scheduling your appointment.
  • What is fasting?
    Fasting for labs is defined as nothing to eat or drink (except water or black coffee) for 8 hours prior to your test.
  • How do I sign in at the LabCorp Patient Service Center?
    There are 3 ways to sign in to the LabCorp Patient Service Center. 1. Go online and make an appointment. Print the confirmation or have the confirmation available on your smartphone. When you arrive to the PSC, simply scan the barcode onto the tablet. Confirm your information and you will be checked in. 2. Sign in on the tablet once you arrive to the PSC. You will need to have your photo ID ready to scan. Once you have completed the check in you will be in the queue to be seen. 3. If you have trouble with the tablet, you may go to the front desk to be checked in. LabCorp staff will check you in and you will be entered into the queue to be seen.
  • Can I visit any LabCorp?
    Please choose the right Patient Service Center to accomodate your specific lab testing (for example, not all sites perform drug testing). Please note: you are not allowed to use any lab draw sites located in NY, NJ, RI or MD if you have purchased your lab orders from iHLTH.
  • When will I receive my results?
    Most results are delivered within 48-72 business hours via secured email to the email address you provided to us upon checkout.
  • Can anyone else access my results?
    You will have sole access to your information and lab test results, with the exception of iHLTH. iHLTH will only disclose your results to the local state health department if required by law. If you would like to share your results with your physician, you will need to do so directly. For more information, please read our Privacy Policy.
  • How will I receive my results?
    You will receive your results via secured email which will be delivered to your email address provided to iHLTH when you placed your order.
  • What do my results mean?
    For more information on your results, please consult your medical provider.
  • Do I need insurance?
    No, you do not need insurance to purchase lab orders through iHLTH.
  • Will my insurance cover lab work I purchase through iHLTH?
    iHLTH customers are financially responsible for services purchased from iHLTH. iHLTH does not bill your insurance or provide ICD-10 codes required for reimbursement.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    We accept all major credit cards, as well as FSA & HSA cards.
  • Do you accept HSA and FSA cards?
    Yes, we accept both HSA & FSA cards.
  • Is my financial information secure?
    Yes, when submmitting payment for your online order, you will enter and submit your payment information through iHLTH's Secured Checkout.
  • What is your Refund Policy?
    Our refund policy is included in our Terms & Conditions which must be agreed upon prior to the customer when submitting his or her order. In regards to our refund policy, iHLTH states the following in the Terms & Conditions: "I understand that refunds are available for 30 days from my online order date provided I have not already submitted a specimen to the patient service center/laboratory. No refunds are available after 30 days. There is a $30 cancellation fee which will be deducted from the refund. No changes to laboratory orders or laboratory requisitions can be made once the laboratory requisition/laboratory order has been prepared. I understand that the lab order expires automatically after 90 days and is no longer valid at the lab. The order will be renewed one time if iHLTH.org is contacted within one year of the original order date. If the price has increased since my order, I agree to pay the difference as well as a $30 processing fee to prepare the laboratory order/laboratory requisition."
