This test will establish evidence of infection/exposure to Bordetella pertussis, the causative agent of whooping cough. And also it assess immunity against tetanus by determining levels of circulating antibodies to tetanus toxin or to measure the immune response, postvaccination, in individuals suspected of immunodeficiency disorders
